Problems We Help With

Breastfeeding & Infant Feeding Concerns We Help With

Thoughtful, physician-led care for common breastfeeding and infant feeding concerns
Feeding challenges in infancy are common and they are rarely caused by just one thing.

At FLOW, families often come to us because something doesn’t feel right with feeding, growth, or comfort. Sometimes the issue is clear. Other times, families know there’s a problem but aren’t sure how to name it.

This page is designed to help you quickly find the concern that sounds most like what you’re experiencing and learn how we approach care.

A Whole-Dyad, Medical Approach

We evaluate feeding concerns by caring for both parent and baby together. Many feeding challenges involve:
  • Infant feeding mechanics

  • Maternal health or milk supply

  • The feeding relationship itself

  • Timing, development, and stress

Our goal is not to rush to a single explanation or intervention, but to understand what’s driving the problem and support feeding in a way that aligns with your goals.

Topics We Evaluate & Support

Common Reasons Families Seek Care at FLOW

You can click any topic below to learn more.

Each page explains:

  • What’s normal vs. when to seek help
  • How feeding, milk supply, and infant development interact
  • When evaluation or treatment may be helpful
  • How FLOW supports families through that concern

Not Sure Which One Fits?

That’s okay, many families aren’t.

Feeding concerns often overlap, and it’s common to experience more than one issue at the same time. If you’re unsure where to start, we can help guide you to the right evaluation.

How FLOW Supports You

FLOW provides physician-led breastfeeding medicine and infant feeding care, with:
Long, unhurried visits

A Reassuring Note

Many feeding challenges are common, treatable, and temporary with the right support.
